A month ago, Bloomberg TV and Fox Business aired a feature about Airtech and its drive for innovation. That has been successfully put to the test recently, and the company is therefore in the news again. Airtech developed a novel medical device which delivers Nitric Oxide to COVID-19 patients with acute severe respiratory distress syndrome. Recent research has shown that the gas can inhibit the reproduction of the coronavirus and potentially kill it with higher dosage. The equipment was developed thanks to Airtech’s decades of experience in the medical and biomedical sectors in collaboration with Lousiana’s State University Medical Center. LSU is currently working with Massachusetts General Hospital on human trials.
